While Nataional Signing Day has become the first chance for UCF Knights commitments to actually sign their letters of intent, there's been a lot of movement with recruiting within the past two days.
High school recruits, Transfer Portal additions, and one very important addition from Hutchinson Community college in Ja'Maric Morris all aligned with the Knights.
Plus, the much anticipated signing of John Walker will finally come about.
Many of the committed recruits, no matter when they actually first committed to Gus Malzahn and UCF, will announce their signings in the morning. Regardless of when that happens, Inside The Knights will be here throughout National Signing Day to bring the news to Knights fans.
Updates will appear at the top with each time listed as ET.
2:41- There's still no definitive word about which schools will receive wide receiver Cayden Lee's letter of intent. He's been quiet, but that's his nature; very mature young man.
Lee is set to announce his decision this evening around 7:30. Ole Miss, UCF, South Carolina and Oklahoma have been some of the schools he's considering.
Lee is also close friends with quarterback Malachi Singleton, a player UCF recruited, but he ended up signing with Arkansas.
1:15 - For any recruiting fans out there, it's a good idea to keep your eyes on social media today. Still could be a few more surprises. This is not directed at UCF, per se, just recruiting in general.

12:35- There could still be more recruiting information, UCF and/or other programs in the state of Florida. Inside The Knights will keep updating this article as news becomes available.
12:30- With the commitment of Braeden Marshall, UCF has a tremendous cornerback class, plus they beat Auburn for him. Good times!
12:12- Some bonus coveragefor everyone here. Down the recruiting stretch, there were numerous times I was told that the Florida Gators led for a prospect. Every single time they lost that player.
Literally, every time...
You cannot make this stuff up. In the past 20-plus years of covering ecruiting, never seen anything like it.
Also, there is some drama with Miami cornerback commitment Cormani McClainand his letter of intent not being signed today. That will get sorted out in short order. Unless something changes, he's going to end up in Coral Gables.
Finally, still waiting to hear on a few top prospects across the South, some of which that could end up playing against the Knights.

11:37- This is one of the coolest parts of National Signing Day: Everyone gets to know these prospects a little bit better.
11:25- Now that Walker has signed with UCF, he can finally concentrate on being a college student and a college football player. Congrats to big John!

10:57- As a future note, there will be further breakdowns of UCF's Transfer Portal additions over the next week. Discussing how they fit into the offense, defense, and special teams. From the players that committed in the last few days, look for multiple players to end up starting at some point for UCF.
10:41- The Nixon situation is one that I referenced earlier. The Knights are getting a long-armed pass rusher from St. Petersburg (Fla.) Lakewood.
10:29- UCF will get Ja'Maric Morris today. Just was messaging with him back and forth, and he says that playing boundary cornerback is what he's expected to do.
10:20- UCF defensive lineman John Walkeris supposed to make his signing official in a little less than an hour. Just so everyone knows. Here's his senior season scouting profile.
10:09- This photo puts in perspective just how good Kaven Callwas this season.
9:45- The knights added top defensive lineman Andrew Rumph. That was a huge late pickup for Malzahn and his coaching staff!
9:23- Prediction: At least one of the prospects that will sign today (a surprise) is also going to start some games by Year 2 in Orlando.

8:42- As the Knights announce the signees, keep in mind, that UCF has been extremelyfortunate to land the handful of transfers that announced for UCF the past few days. It's been a whirlwind of new prospects.
8:27- Knights get former Florida State commitment and tight end Randy Pittman to sign on the dotted line!
8:04- With so many great additions to the class, it's fun to think about all the different players running onto the field for the Knights!
8:00- Offensive lineman Johnathan Clinehas made it official as well!

7:50- Wide receiver Tyree Pattersonhas inked with the Knights!
7:40- Quarterback Dylan Rizk has signed with UCF!

7:25 - Troy Ford, Jr. has now become a Knight. He was instrumental in getting the 2023 recruiting class going!
7:20 - Cornerback Jason Duclona, from Estero (Fla.) High School, has signed with the Knights!
7:15 - The first signee is kicker Grant Reddick!
6:52 - The fun is about to begin.
